a Croquet Legend Was Realized.

Croquet is a mental sport - you must be thinking 10 steps ahead of your opponent - always. Sometimes I'm so focused I'm thinking 10 hours ahead. Which means sometimes I'm thinking about what I will eat for dinner...

Regardless, on that faithful day at the Pasadena Croquet Club located in beautiful Pasadena, California (coincidence?) - I was one of many to play in the annual "Crazy Croquet Competition". Many scoffed at the comedian who was trying to give a go at the sport of croquet. Little did they know that I have killer instinct for the sport. One by one, I was swishing my balls in through one hoop, to the next, to the next (I refuse to make a 'swishing balls' joke here...).

No one could believe what they were witnessing. Like a conductor leading the Compton Philharmonic - I would beat my balls into submission until they did what I wanted and made music on the court... have you ever heard the sweet sound of balls swooshing? I encourage you to take time to out of your day to beat your balls and listen to the swooshing sound.

I digress.

The final two players, myself and Pasadena Croquet Club Member (and interior decorator) Jeanette, were stuck with a tie score. A playoff ensued... behold the winning shot... it's so fierce!!! Watch it....

Ooops - sorry wrong video.

Behold! The winning shot by the "Mallet Master"...

The Green Jacket

As it is a customary ritual (dating all the way back to the year 2012), the winner of the annual "Crazy Croquet Competition" is honored with the well-renowned Green Jacket which is bestrewn with patches, buttons and assorted accouterments placed on the Green Jacket by previous champions (dating all the way back to the year 2012).

Here is footage of me in the Jacket...

OOOPS - SORRY WRONG VIDEO.

Here is me receiving the Green Jacket and my well-thought out acceptance speech...

The Green Jacket Journey

The Green Jacket is in my control for the year ... and it is on a journey...
